Preliminary data from the ship tracking company Kpler show that a total of 7 cargo ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, fewer than the 14 that did so on Wednesday. Among them, 4 ships entered the strait and 3 left it. The data indicates that no ultra-large oil tankers (VLCC) or liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers passed through this narrow maritime route on Thursday. However, one ultra-large gas carrier transporting propane and butane sailed out of the strait via the Iranian route.
