GPT-Image-2 Added a transparent background; AI Now it's finally possible to use the generated images directly as materials.

According to CoinMeta, GPT-Image-2 of OpenAI now supports the generation of images with transparent backgrounds. Developers can directly create image materials with transparent channels without the need for manual image editing. Official use cases include product images, web design drafts, and marketing posters. The generated images can be directly used on various backgrounds, making them more suitable as reusable design materials. Previously, there were complaints from the community about the insufficient support for transparent backgrounds with GPT-Image-2. Many users, even when requesting images with transparent PNG, could only obtain "pseudo-transparent" images with a checkerboard pattern or had to use green screens and image editing tools separately. This update addresses a small pain point in the image generation process for practical design purposes, especially for e-commerce materials, APP icons, and advertising designers. The ability to directly reuse the generated images is more practical than simply improving image quality.
