According to CoinMeta, Asian stock markets fell due to intensified bond selling. On Friday, Japan's Nikkei index declined by 0.8% in the morning session and is expected to record a weekly decline of around 4%. Despite the weak stock market, Bitcoin rose nearly 20% this week, reaching a two-month high, and the spot price of gold also climbed to $4,601.29 per ounce, a three-month high. Investors are concerned about the U.S. debt exceeding $40 trillion and the federal deficit exceeding 6%, which has made the market more sensitive to fiscal policy and government debt supply.
