Global stock markets end a tough week, with bond yields and oil prices remaining high

According to CoinMeta, after a difficult week, global stock markets mostly closed lower on Friday, and the pressure on the global bond market remained unabated. The diplomatic standoff in the Gulf region pushed oil prices to their highest level in a month. U.S. Treasury yields resumed their upward trend on Wednesday following an unexpected intervention by the Treasury Department, although Treasury Secretary Scott Bennett indicated that there might be further increases in Treasury bond repurchases. Analysts are skeptical about whether sufficient spending cuts can be found to significantly reduce the budget deficit, which exceeds 6%. Meanwhile, the dollar is under pressure to fall to a three-month low, having dropped nearly 1% during the week. Bitcoin rose nearly 6% on Friday, reaching $76,446, and is expected to increase by 20% this week, marking the largest gain in over two and a half years.
