According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Coinbase's Vice President of Products, Dor Levi, announced August 21st as his last working day at Coinbase, with no plans for the next step being disclosed yet. Levi joined Coinbase in 2025 and is mainly responsible for product infrastructure, as well as working on resolving account restrictions and freezes that have long plagued users. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has previously publicly affirmed his related work this year, and Coinbase also stated that after reorganizing the compliance process through AI, the speed of handling account restriction issues has increased by about 90%.
