The funds will be used for hunger relief, global health, humanitarian assistance, and areas related to children and families. The Giving Block was established in 2018 and was acquired by the payment company Shift4 in 2022. It is expected that by 2025, the value of cryptocurrency donations processed through its platform will exceed $100 million.
