According to CoinMeta, the “Gulf of Persia Strait Administration” in Iran announced that any vessel that violates Iranian regulations while navigating through the Strait of Hormuz will face restrictions including fines, detention, or confiscation in subsequent passages. The agency requires cargo owners destined for or originating from the Gulf of Persia to check the latest list of violators on its official website before chartering a ship. In addition, starting from today, vessels that cooperate with ships on this list through ship-to-ship transshipment, transshipment transportation, or other methods will also be included in the list of violators.
