According to CoinMeta, due to the limitations on U.S. military forces caused by the war in Iran, the United States has canceled a joint amphibious landing exercise scheduled to take place next month with South Korea. A spokesman for the South Korean Marine Corps stated that both Korea and the United States are still in close consultations regarding the resumption of the exercise, but did not specify what measures will be taken to prevent future cancellations or to make up for the lost training opportunities. Prior to this cancellation, Trump unexpectedly ordered the reduction of another annual joint military exercise last Friday, citing high costs and Seoul's refusal to participate in the war against Iran.
