According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Reuters, MicroStrategy announced the establishment of a cash pool of approximately $1.6 billion for future financial operations, including potential Bitcoin purchases and stock repurchases. In regulatory documents on Monday, the company disclosed that this liquidity pool, referred to as "USD Cash," will be different from the reserves previously set up for paying preferred stock dividends and debt interest. The new cash pool will have more flexible uses and may be used for Bitcoin purchases, stock repurchases, and other corporate activities. This move comes after a strong week for Bitcoin, which has risen by more than 13% over the past five trading days. Last week, Bitcoin broke through the $70,000 mark for the first time. Risk assets such as cryptocurrencies have also benefited from the U.S. Treasury Department's decision to double the scale of long-term debt repurchases, which has suppressed yields. Nevertheless, Bitcoin is still far from reaching the peak it set last year.
