Google Antigravity Finally completes the basic skills of IDE: No need to switch out between Git and the terminal anymore
2026-08-25 13:59:52
According to CoinMeta, the Antigravity 2.0 version of Google has added a built-in terminal and a complete Git panel. Users can now perform Git operations directly within Antigravity, such as viewing, modifying, running tests, checking diff, stage, commit, and push, without having to switch to the terminal or the Git client. The biggest change is to the Git panel, which now directly reads from the Git worktree. Users can view agent, edits, uncommitted changes, and changes in the current branch separately. In addition, the terminal has also been integrated into the sidebar, supporting testing, building, lint, scripting, and package management commands.
