According to CoinMeta, Franklin Templeton has collaborated with Hong Kong’s HashKey Exchange to launch a tokenized money market fund, Franklin Onchain U.S., on the HashKey Earn channel. This fund invests in U.S. government money market instruments and U.S. dollar cash assets and is aimed at professional investors, not open to the general public in Hong Kong. Chetan Karkhanis, the senior vice president of digital asset customer relations at Franklin Templeton, stated that they look forward to leveraging HashKey to reach multiple jurisdictional platforms in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Dubai, and Bermuda, in order to expand their range of tokenized products.
