Bitcoin rises 30% in a week, breaking through $81,000

According to CoinMeta, coinbureau indicates that Bitcoin soared from $62,000 to $81,000 in less than a week, representing a gain of 30%. This fluctuation began when the U.S. Treasury Department doubled the scale of its long-term bond repurchases to at least $4 billion each time. Since reports emerged that Bessent may have $950 billion in cash reserves, Bitcoin has risen another 4.7%. If this capital is injected into the market, it will flow out of the Treasury Department's federal accounts and into the financial system, potentially supporting bond prices, lowering yields, and encouraging investors to shift towards stocks and cryptocurrencies. Although this is not quantitative easing, the market may perceive it as temporary monetary easing. In the end, the Treasury Department will need to replenish its cash accounts, which could reverse this increase in liquidity. Currently, it seems that Bitcoin has already priced in this possibility.
