This index combines about 100 data points to assess the potential risk of a market collapse. The team led by Maxwell Grinacoff, who is in charge of UBS' equity derivatives research in the United States, pointed out that the Federal Reserve's FOMC interest rate meeting in September and the mid-term elections in the United States in November are key risk points. The options market expects the S&P 500 to experience daily fluctuations of about 1%.
