According to CoinMeta, LayerZero will launch a blockchain exchange ATLAS for financial institutions this autumn. The platform is built on the Zero blockchain. ATLAS does not provide applications for consumers; instead, it serves as an underlying exchange for other trading platforms and financial institutions. In its initial phase, the platform will support spot cryptocurrency tokens and perpetual futures trading, with plans to expand to include predictive contracts, futures, and options in the future. Citadel Securities, the U.S. Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) are exploring the applications of the Zero blockchain.
