According to CoinMeta, as U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent continues to increase pressure on Iran, the crypto market came into focus on August 24, with the price approaching $79,000. According to CoinMarketCap data, BTC traded near $78,851 on Monday, representing a 1.9% increase over 24 hours. On August 19, the U.S. Treasury Department announced that long-term liquidity support for repurchases would be at least doubled, with the maximum scale increased from $2 billion to at least $4 billion. The revised plan will take effect on September 9 and last until November 4.
