No military vessels are allowed to pass through the strait; only merchant ships are permitted to navigate there. Ghalibabadi emphasized that if Iran's demands and conditions are not met, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed. The prerequisites for reopening the strait include a complete cessation of hostilities, including those on the Lebanese front, the lifting of blockades, and a proper resolution to the Yemeni issue. In addition, the United States must fully fulfill all its previous commitments that it has not yet fulfilled.
