According to CoinMeta, as reported by the official news website of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Sepah News, the spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Mohabi, stated that the Strait of Hormuz is currently under Iranian control, and there are no enemy warships in the Persian Gulf. He added that without Iran's permission and under Iranian management, no ships are allowed to pass through this waterway. Mohabi mentioned that the Strait of Hormuz belongs to both Iran and Oman, which is across the sea from it, and that the two parties have reached some agreements regarding the sharing of waters in the strait and the distribution of revenues. He emphasized that if the United States does not accept Iran's conditions, the Strait of Hormuz will never be opened to traffic.
