According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has reactivated the process of formulating rules for the custody of crypto assets, establishing a regulatory framework for brokerage traders to manage their clients' digital assets. The new draft strengthens requirements for custodians in terms of operational security, network security, and capital reserves.
