According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, during the fiscal quarter ending July 26, NVIDIA's revenue from selling H200 chips to Chinese customers accounted for less than 1% of its data center business revenue. Although NVIDIA was permitted by the U.S. government to export H200 chips to China, it was unable to fulfill the entire approved quota due to opposition from relevant Chinese authorities and other factors. Over the past six months, NVIDIA has recognized a cost of $400 million for excess H200 inventory due to weakened product demand and backlogs.
