2026-08-27 09:56:51
According to CoinMeta, Ryosuke Hino, the deputy governor of the Bank of Japan, stated to local business leaders in Saitama City that the central bank should continue to raise policy interest rates and adjust the degree of monetary easing based on changes in economic activity, prices, and financial conditions. He pointed out that more attention must be paid to upward price risks and warned that inflation deviating from the 2% target would have an adverse effect on the economy. Hino also mentioned that the increasing demand for artificial intelligence globally is driving economic activity and rising prices, while the depreciation of the yen is also exacerbating inflationary pressures.
