This deal could make 1X part of a Japanese investment group funded by SoftBank, which has pledged to invest tens of billions of dollars in artificial intelligence companies and infrastructure. 1X's consumer product Neo is expected to begin delivery in the United States in 2026, priced at $20,000, with a subscription version costing $499 per month.
