According to CoinMeta, a senior Iranian source stated on the 26th that Iran and Oman are still negotiating the details of an agreement regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Hossein Muhubi, a spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guards of Iran, said that the two countries have reached an agreement recognized by both parties regarding their respective shares of control over the waters of the Strait of Hormuz and the distribution of revenues. However, the source pointed out that the two sides are still discussing the specific details, and it is not clear at which stage of the negotiations the "agreement" mentioned by Muhubi was reached. Earlier this month, Iran indicated that the agreement was close to being finalized.
