According to CoinMeta, Bybit RWA Earn has newly launched a nopal product that has secured over $300 million in committed funds from institutions. nopal is built on Brazilian credit card receivables and is managed by Blackopal Finance and deployed on the open finance platform Plume. Its earnings come from the price difference generated by Brazilian merchants selling their future credit card receivables at a discount. After settlement through the Visa and Mastercard networks, the discounted portion is converted into investor earnings. This product uses institution-level non-deliverable forward contracts to hedge against fluctuations in the exchange rate between the Brazilian real and the US dollar, with earnings paid in US dollars. There is also a dedicated liquidity reserve to support redemptions. As of August 2026, the rolling yield of nopal over the past 30 days was approximately 12%, with a total locked-up amount of over $70 million. Since November 2025, this strategy has had zero defaults and zero credit losses. nopal subscriptions and redemptions are denominated in USDC, with a minimum investment of 500 USDC. No subscription or redemption fees are charged. Eligible users can enjoy an additional annualized promotion rate of 5% on top of the earnings from the underlying product during the promotion period on nopal.
