According to CoinMeta, the United States plans to promote its "lax regulation" approach at next week's G20 Innovation Ministers' Meeting to more countries. Elon Musk, David Sacks, Sam Altman, and Jensen Huang will all be present. The meeting will take place from September 1st to 2nd in North Carolina, USA, with technology and trade officials from over 20 countries participating. The US hopes that G20 members will adopt looser tech regulations, with existing industry regulatory authorities taking charge as much as possible, while also allowing the government and companies to test new technologies such as AI. This framework, named "Carolina Principles," is not legally binding. If member countries reach a consensus, these principles will be included in a joint statement, which will then be discussed at the G20 Leaders' Summit in December.
