Virtu Financial, M1X Global and Tradeweb Complete the First On-Chain Repurchase Transaction

According to CoinMeta, Virtu Financial, M1X Global, and Tradeweb completed the first on-chain repurchase transaction using USDM1 sovereign digital bonds as collateral on Canton Network. The settlement took less than 10 minutes. USDM1 is a sovereign bond denominated in US dollars and backed 1:1 by short-term US Treasury bonds. Anchorage Digital, BitGo, and Tzero were involved in this transaction.
