SK Telecommunications Splitts to Form SK Horizon, Raises 3.08 Trillion Korean Won in Financing

According to CoinMeta, SK Telecom has split its SK broadband data center and submarine cable business to establish a specialized data center company called SK Horizon. The company raised 3.08 trillion Korean won from a consortium consisting of KKR and IMM. Following the completion of the transaction, SK Telecom will hold 51% of the shares in SK Horizon, KKR will hold 29%, and the IMM consortium will hold 20%. In the future, the target stock price for SK Telecom is set to be raised from 120,000 Korean won to 150,000 Korean won, with the investment rating remaining as "buy."
