According to CoinMeta, the Abu Dhabi Royal Group has acquired a 49% stake in the crypto bank supported by Trump. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his co-investors also hold a 49% stake in the holding company behind the proposed US trust bank by World Free Finance Corporation. This proposed bank received preliminary approval from the Trump administration this month, bringing this Trump-backed crypto project one step closer to launching its own US banking business.
