According to CoinMeta, renowned trader Peter Brandt stated on August 28 that he remained bullish on Bitcoin, at a time when the price of Bitcoin was near $80,000 and failed to break through the resistance level of $82,000 after several attempts. The current trading price of Bitcoin is around $79,771, up about 1.2% from the previous trading day. Brandt revealed his long positions, holding long positions not only in Bitcoin but also in commodities such as wheat, soybeans, and corn. He did not disclose the entry price or size of his Bitcoin position and warned that the position could change within a single day. Brandt's opinion was formed after changes in his technical outlook; on August 20, he mentioned that he bought Bitcoin after a reversal head-and-shoulders pattern was completed. Bitcoin first broke through $80,000 on August 25, reaching a price of $81,238, but failed to sustain the breakthrough above $82,000. The current market is between the support level of $78,000 to $79,000 and the resistance level of $82,000, and a decisive breakthrough would provide a clearer short-term direction.
