According to CoinMeta, based on cryptorank data, as of August 2026, the cumulative recharge volume for stablecoin cryptocurrency cards reached $13.8 billion, with nearly $1 billion added in the past 12 months. In August, by chain, tron accounted for 21% of the recharge volume, ethereum accounted for 18.6%, BNB chain accounted for 16.9%, and base accounted for 11.4%. Among these, tron, ethereum, and base together accounted for about half of the total. cryptorank indicates that cryptocurrency cards are becoming an important channel for stablecoins to enter daily consumption. Currently, USDC holds a dominant position in the cryptocurrency card consumption it tracks, and the share of USDT is also rising rapidly.
