This committee supports both the Democratic and Republican parties, and the recipients of donations as well as the amounts donated must be disclosed to the U.S. Federal Election Commission. NVIDIA's federal lobbying expenditures this year have exceeded $2.5 million, indicating a significant increase in its investment in Washington. In an email to its employees, the company stated that policies formulated by Congress in the coming years will directly affect the AI industry and customers' access to and use of NVIDIA's technology.
