Capital B Raises 21 Million Euros to Expand Bitcoin Reserves

According to CoinMeta, a French Bitcoin company announced the raising of 21 million euros (approximately 24.5 million US dollars) through private financing to expand its Bitcoin reserves. In a statement on Friday, the company stated that it had issued 36.2 million shares, accompanied by four warrants, with each share priced at 0.58 euros. This financing attracted institutional investors including Bitcoin advocates and the CEO of a certain company, as well as asset management firms. After deducting fees and transaction costs, the net proceeds are expected to reach around 19.9 million euros. The company plans to use this funds primarily to purchase Bitcoin, with an estimated purchase of 270 Bitcoins, bringing its potential holdings to 3,415 Bitcoins. This transaction also provided investors with warrants that, if fully exercised, could bring an additional 135.8 million euros to the company.
