According to CoinMeta, the Solana double deflation proposal was passed. This proposal aims to reduce the SOL inflation rate to about half of its current level, with an expected reduction of approximately 18.9 million SOL coins to be issued over the next six years. The proposal regarding resources and inclusion fees did not reach the 2/3 majority threshold and was not passed. This proposal intends to introduce a transaction fee mechanism based on resource consumption, which is expected to increase the daily destruction rate of SOL coins from the current approximately 650 to 7,500 to 9,000 coins.
