2026-08-29 00:18:34
According to CoinMeta, Baron Capital released its investor letter for the second quarter of 2026. Baron Financials ETF achieved a return of 1.82% in the quarter ending June 30, failing to outperform the MSCI U.S. Financial Index (which rose by 8.93%) and the FactSet Global Fintech Index (which rose by 6.14%). Despite challenges such as the U.S.-Iran war, as well as the impact of high living costs and inflation on consumer sentiment, the U.S. stock market still saw significant gains, driven mainly by AI infrastructure investments. The CME group (NASDAQ : CME) was mentioned in the letter; as a leading financial derivatives market operator, its stocks performed poorly this quarter, mainly due to a slowdown in trading activity. The market value of the CME group is $101.02 billion, with a return of 6.04% over the past month.
