Grayscale: The US debt crisis may drive investors to turn to BTC, ETH, and ZEC

According to CoinMeta, Grayscale warns that the US debt crisis could drive investors towards Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and altcoins (ZEC). The firm points out that the government's unrestrained borrowing may undermine the credibility of fiat currencies and increase the demand for alternative forms of value storage. Grayscale believes that as the US public debt exceeds $40 trillion for the first time and long-term real Treasury yields approach 3%, this trend will intensify. The US Treasury Department recently announced an expansion of its long-term Treasury bond repurchases in order to address rising borrowing costs, but this does not address the structural budget deficit. Ray Dalio also warns that the US may face a major debt crisis within a few years, with the budget deficit expected to reach around $2 trillion.
