According to CoinMeta, Poland's Ministry of Finance expects the economic growth rate to slow down to 2% by 2030, as the government needs to intensify efforts to address the fiscal deficit. The budget plan announced by the Ministry of Finance on Friday shows that the economic growth rate will gradually decline from 3.6% in 2026 over the coming years, with the fiscal deficit expected to remain high at over 7% of economic output. At the same time, the inflation rate is expected to slow down to 2.5% by 2030. The Ministry of Finance pointed out that the main risks come from the situation in the Middle East and developments in neighboring Ukraine. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated that the next seven to eight months will be a "critical period."
