According to CoinMeta, investors withdrew $22.3 billion from U.S. equity funds in the week ending August 26, marking the largest weekly outflow since March, mainly due to cautious attitudes towards NVIDIA's financial reports and remarks by Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh at the Jackson Hole Symposium. Large-cap stock funds experienced a net outflow of $24.73 billion, while mid-cap and small-cap stock funds attracted inflows of $2.24 billion and approximately $794 million respectively. This week's withdrawals signify a sharp decline in investors' interest in U.S. stocks. Global equity funds recorded an outflow of $5.87 billion, ending a 13-week streak of inflows. Despite the sell-off in large-cap stocks, tech funds attracted about $1.81 billion in capital this week, indicating that investors are still selectively taking on more risk.
