According to CoinMeta, as reported by an early issuer of in, Zcash has increased in value by about 19 times over the past year, yet its market capitalization is still less than 1% of that of Bitcoin. As of August 29th, Bitcoin's market capitalization was 1.56 trillion US dollars, while Zcash's market capitalization was 13.74 billion US dollars. Grayscale estimates that if ZEC reaches 2%, 5%, and 10% of Bitcoin's market capitalization, the corresponding prices would be 1,622 US dollars, 4,054 US dollars, and 8,109 US dollars, respectively. On August 25th, Grayscale's Zcash ETF began trading on NYSE Arca under the code ZCSH. Zcash adopts proof-of-work and a fixed supply of 21 million coins, and supports hiding transaction details through zero-knowledge proofs. Its Intents technology allows for coordinated cross-chain transactions.
