According to CoinMeta, Finnish President Alexander Stubb stated on Saturday that he does not believe Russia will attack NATO, “the world’s most powerful military alliance.” However, in an interview with Germany’s Bild newspaper, he said that NATO should “be prepared for the worst to prevent that from happening.” Stubb pointed out that Russia has lost more soldiers than it has recruited and speculated that Russia might mobilize additional troops in the autumn, but such a move would have “domestic political implications.” He said that Moscow is in a “increasingly complex situation,” but also emphasized that Russia will not end the conflict due to its economic downturn. He stated, “Never underestimate the extent of economic difficulties that Russians are capable of enduring.”
