The pledged scale of crypto assets on South Korea's four major won exchanges reaches $3.4 billion

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Yonhap News, as of the end of July, the total value of crypto assets pledged on four South Korean exchanges – upbit, bithumb, coinone, and korbit – amounted to approximately $3.4 billion, with 1.2255 million users participating in this practice. This year, users have received an average monthly reward of about $7.57 million from their pledged assets. In terms of the scale of pledged assets, upbit still leads with about $1.764 billion, accounting for 51.78% of the total. bithumb follows with about $1.481 billion, or 43.41%. However, when considering the number of users, bithumb has surpassed upbit since January of this year, boasting approximately 592,700 pledged users as of the end of July, which constitutes 48.37% of the total, while upbit has around 359,500 pledged users.
