According to CoinMeta, Codex has fixed 8 types of issues that caused additional consumption of usage quotas, and has reset the quotas for all paid users of Codex and ChatGPT Work. Tibo states that, depending on the method of use, the same quota can now last 10%-50% longer. Among these, the most wasteful is `/ goal`; some tasks, although clearly completed, do not stop properly, potentially consuming 15%-70% of the weekly quota in a single instance. Additional consumption issues have also been identified with image compression, background memory, automatic tasks, and sub-agent and MCP. In addition, Tibo announced that Codex is about to reach a new user milestone and hinted that there will be a celebration, with another quota reset expected possibly taking place tomorrow.
