Nearly 30% of the assets on South Korea's top 5 exchanges are only tradable on one of them

According to CoinMeta, five major Korean won exchanges – Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, Gopax and CoinGecko – have found that after removing duplicate assets, these five exchanges support a total of about 606 crypto assets. Among them, 164 assets (27.1%) are only traded on one exchange, while another 324 assets (53.5%) are only traded on two or fewer exchanges. The analysis suggests that the listing of an asset on a single exchange does not necessarily imply risk, but for assets with low overseas trading volumes and restricted deposit and withdrawal networks, investors may face difficulties in selling and transferring them once support is discontinued. In terms of liquidity, the median 24-hour trading volume for these 164 assets is only about 1.37 million Korean won, with 79 assets having a trading volume of less than 1 million Korean won, and 38 assets having no transactions at all.
