According to CoinMeta, the Vietnamese government recently announced that in order to establish a cryptocurrency exchange, companies are required to pay a registered capital of up to $383 million, which is seen as a major obstacle to entering the market. So far, only five companies have passed the preliminary assessment, including three bank subsidiaries, one securities company, and one conglomerate, none of which are native cryptocurrency companies.
