According to CoinMeta, and as cited by Al Jazeera from the media center of Yemen's armed forces, the Yemeni government navy stated that they intercepted a shipment of military parts and equipment in the Red Sea. These supplies were provided by Iran to their ally, the Houthi rebels. The shipment was intercepted on August 24th, and subsequent videos revealed that it included parts used for manufacturing and developing drones. At the same time, the Yemeni government forces claimed to have launched a pre-emptive strike in the Red Sea, destroying an unmanned boat operated by the Houthi rebels. A video released by the Yemeni armed forces media center showed that the unmanned boat was destroyed before it was used to attack vessels.
