Domestic AI chip leader sees revenue surge of nearly 2000%

According to CoinMeta, domestic AI chip leaders reported in their semi-annual reports released in August that their revenue surged by nearly 2000%. BiRen Technology released its financial report last Friday, showing a nearly 20-fold increase in revenue, and leading companies such as Cambricon and Moore Threads also achieved significant growth. Behind this substantial performance improvement is a supply shortage of high-end computing power, with some companies' orders already backlogged for three years. Industry research data indicates that by 2026, the demand for domestic AI chips is expected to be around 4 million units, while only about 3 million units will actually be delivered, resulting in a gap of over one million units in production capacity. The industry generally believes that domestic chips are in a strong upward cycle for high-end AI chips.
