European natural gas prices rise due to US-Iran conflict

According to CoinMeta, European natural gas prices have risen due to a new round of conflict between the United States and Iran. On Monday, the benchmark wholesale price of natural gas in the Netherlands increased, with data showing that the near-month contract for the Dutch TTF hub benchmark rose by 2.42 euros to 69.40 euros per megawatt-hour. Analysts said that the new round of attacks has exacerbated market concerns about a long-term deadlock between the US and Iran, and fears that energy flows in the Gulf region, including liquefied natural gas supplies, will be disrupted have further intensified.
