Hong Kong Monetary Authority: Total deposits rose by 0.9% in July 2026

According to CoinMeta, a report from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority shows that the total deposits of recognized institutions in Hong Kong increased by 0.9% in July 2026, with both Hong Kong dollar and foreign currency deposits rising by 0.9%. As of the end of July, the total deposits and Hong Kong dollar deposits had increased by 5.8% and 6.2% respectively. In addition, Hong Kong's RMB deposits rose by 2.9% in July, reaching 112.54 billion yuan by the end of the month.
