According to CoinMeta, Asian stock markets saw mixed movements on Monday due to market expectations that the Federal Reserve may raise interest rates soon. Oil prices rose by about 3% following a strike by the U.S. military against rocket launchers in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran. Brent crude oil increased by 2.9% to $90.62 per barrel, while U.S. benchmark crude oil rose by 2.7% to $85.62 per barrel. Markets fell after a speech by Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Walsh, who reiterated that the Fed would take necessary measures to reduce inflation.
