According to CoinMeta, NVIDIA announced an investment of $3.5 billion in MediaTek’s convertible bonds to expand the AI collaboration between the two companies in the areas of cloud infrastructure, personal computers, and vehicles. MediaTek will also join NVIDIA’s NVLink Fusion ecosystem, allowing for the direct connection of customized AI chips to NVIDIA’s rack-scale systems.
