Hyperliquid Labs and Payward enter into negotiations to enter the US market
2026-09-01 00:58:56
According to CoinMeta, Hyperliquid Labs is in in-depth negotiations with Kraken's parent company, Payward, regarding entry into the US market. If regulatory approval is obtained, Payward's US-regulated digital asset exchanges and clearing institutions, including Bitnomial, will allow registered users to trade perpetual futures linked to the prices of Hyperliquid's on-chain crypto assets. Sources familiar with the matter say that Payward has submitted a related proposal to CFTC, although the transaction amount is not yet clear, and both parties have declined to comment. If the transaction goes through, it will mark Hyperliquid's first official entry into the US market.
