According to CoinMeta, Peach Bitcoin will suspend the KYC custodial mode starting from September 1, 2026, and switch to a non-custodial mode. According to reports by Bitcoin News on platform X, due to the review by Swiss regulatory authorities, in the temporary mode, only users who have completed KYC, have been authorized through an manual whitelist, or meet the transaction record requirements can place sell orders. Sellers who have not completed KYC can only participate in one transaction at a time. The buy function is open to all users, with a maximum transaction amount of 500 Swiss francs and a maximum premium of 6%. Peach Bitcoin will no longer sign in custodial mode and will continue to charge a 2% fee. The founder of Peach Bitcoin stated that the company will communicate with the regulatory authorities and will comply with the regulatory decisions if the appeal is unsuccessful.
